Return Of Football 2021

The Club are delighted to confirm that we will return to training on Saturday 3rd April 2021 and early indications suggest that local leagues will restart games two weeks later.

We can only hope that this will be the final Covid challenge, and that we can now continue with our lives, including the exciting return to football.

What Happens Next  – If we presume that this is the end of restrictions, it’s proposed that games will start mid-April and continue through June 2021. This is not fully understood yet, and will be subject to the local leagues decisions… but it looks rather positive as I write.

Good Communication  – Over the next days our coaches will be reaching out to parents to understand the status of the teams. We fear that some teams may require new players following such a challenging year so please do communicate with the coaches and The Club so that we can support teams, ultimately ensuring we start games again mid April.

Player Subs – Player subs will be due for April 2021 and thereon. Players subs in debt pre December 2021 remain due, and if player subs are greater than 2 months due then you must contact Pete Grice (Treasurer). We will as always do our best to support families, but you must communicate with us.

Competition Winner  –  Congratulations to Mia Moseley for winning our drawing competition to encourage dog-walkers to clean up their mess.

We had some amazing entries and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who designed a poster. We loved seeing them all!

Mia’s poster will be turned into a sign and you’ll see it around our grounds shortly. Well done Mia!

Finally I would like to offer my sincere gratitude to the volunteers and parents that have continued to support The Club during this really difficult last 12 months.
